Starting with "Cute Cute Girls":
"Cute Cute Girls" was my first project in the gaming industry and was crucial for my development as a developer and team leader. During the development of this idle mobile game, I learned to manage a game development team and better understand how scopes in video games work, as well as the associated costs. This project provided me with a deeper insight into the complexities involved in game development, from initial conception to final execution. It was a fundamental step in my career in the industry.
Development and Evolution with "The Bane of the Shadow Crawler":
Following the experience gained with "Cute Cute Girls," I continued to expand my involvement in the gaming industry with "The Bane of the Shadow Crawler." This game, which started as a participation in the GMTK Game Jam 2024, evolved into a more ambitious project. In it, players control a hermit crab that changes shells to survive, exploring themes of scale and adaptation.
Growth at Monkey Development:
At Monkey Development, we are exploring new fields with a more multidisciplinary team, allowing us to aim for greater heights. With a diverse and specialized team, we are now better prepared to explore more complex and innovative projects, expanding our reach and ambitions in the gaming industry. This growth enables us to develop games that not only meet market expectations but also innovate in terms of mechanics, narrative, and design.
My journey in the gaming industry has been marked by continuous learning. From creating "Cute Cute Girls," where I learned to manage teams and handle scope and cost challenges, to the ongoing development of "The Bane of the Shadow Crawler," each project has been an opportunity for growth and evolution.
